Harvest ....

This is multiple post day.
The thing that makes gardens truly worth the hassel is of course the Harvest. I was thinking how nice fresh grown food is last night as we were eating dinner. Our dinner consisted of a main corse and a mini vegi tray - carrots, broccoli, and cherry tomatoes - all freshley harvested from our garden -YUMMMMMY! :). We have been fortunate to enjoy other fresh picked goodies this year as well - sweet corn, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, radishes, green beans, peas and several varieties of lettuce. I loved fresh grown food. We have been blessed to have these things especially in light of all the rain we have had this year - particularly this spring and early summer. I will be very sad when it gets to cold to harvest any more goodies from this years garden. I guess until than bon apetite! :)

Awesome that you have a garden! We didn't do one this year - mostly because we've been out of town a lot this summer, but also because there are bunnies in our garden plot! I just didn't have the heart to plow them over.

Congrats on your garden - so much fun when you actually harvest something.
We actually put ours INSIDE the dog pen this year and it kept most of the critters out. The space was way too small for my garden wishes, but at least we ended up with something (mostly tomatoes and beans - favorite deer foods).

I had a patio garden that was wonderful! It didn't do as well as we would have wanted due to the amount of rain -- next year we can actually have a garden in the yard. Yippee! Hey, when are you coming to visit?
